Morally Bankrupt
Why do I keep intoxicating myself with someone so morally bankrupt?

But The Truth Remains
After all the mistakes have been forgiven. After all the hurt and regrets have been realized. After all our angers and tempers settled down. After all that's said and done. The truth remains... your love is gone.

Time For Another Mike Minute
Mike: So what did you have for breakfast?
Mark: I had a delicious, hot bowl of nothing this morning.
Mike: Well, I'm having a banana.
Mark: Cool!
Mike: Would you like to have a bite of my big banana? Open wide!
Mark: o_O (wtf?)
Parum-Pum! *cue in clown music*
Announcer: This has been another - "Mike Minute" LOL!

Balloons

Remember when we were a little, we see balloons and we end up wanting one and forcing our parents to buy us one and our parents tied the balloon string onto our wrists and we're always scared of letting go because we know there's a possibility that once we let go, the balloon will float away. But it won't because it's tied to our wrists.
Now that we are older, we still have that same fear. Yeah, it would be silly walking around with a balloon tied to our wrists, so we just end up winding it up in our hands. People usually don't notice this, but we actually grip on that string. It's not tied, but we hold onto it.
When we were young we never really knew the meaning or what the balloon represented because to us it was just a balloon.
What is it about balloons? Something so simple... and yet we have a hard time letting it go once we have it? Could something so simple as a balloon hold our inner most fears? Our fear of letting go of something that we've always wanted.
I believe the balloon represented our hopes and our dreams.
And I myself guess that I've put so much hope and dreams into this one balloon that I'm having a hard time letting go. Unfortunately, my balloon doesn't come with strings. All I could really do is watch my balloon go further and further away into the distance.
It's sad watching my balloon disappear. But I believe I have grown older and wiser than I have been. It's sad and I'll miss my companion dearly but I was never meant to keep such childish dreams. It's time for me to grow up and realize my hopes and dreams are not contained in my balloon but reside within my heart, within my power to make them come true.
My hopes and dreams start with me.
