Here we are at another store. they had cool stuffed animals. I love this place because they have some rare toys and stuffed animals here. Ervin loved the Super Mario Bros toys.

Don Skellington

Bert and Ernie

Cookie Monster

Raymond would have been Elmo but he didn't come with us, haha.

Mike and Ike

Here we are at the Candy Shop. We bought some gummibears to spike up our depleting sugar high. I like how Don whispered to me "How many calories are these?"

Mark

Ervin

Don

Sssssss-nap! Something scandalous, LoL!

Don, Ervin, and Mark (minus Raymond) decided to take on the City Walk this Friday. Since they were in the area and it was still a bit early to go home, the 3 muskateers continued their quest for something to curb their boredom on a Friday night.

Stalking Raymond

When in stalk mode, always remember to turn your flash off and roll down the windows because if you don't you'll wind up with a blurry picture, with the flash reflecting off the window like this one, LOL! And the fact that the flash would be a dead giveaway that you're taking pictures. DOH!

The Secret Life of Bees

Mark at Jollibee

Ervin and Raymond

Don and Mark

The guys and I decided to hit up Raymond's neighborhood. Don needed to borrow Raymond's barong so we ended up hanging out in the Valley. I didn't know there were alot of Filipinos up in the area. But we hung out at some Filipino area, just like the day before, but this time in the Valley and ate at Jollibee!

Mark and the Bee

Ervin and the Bee

Raymond and the Bee

The Queen Bee and the Bee

Raymond's area was scary. So we stopped to get gas at some station and some random guy came up to us asking for a handout. He looked scary. My heart started beating fast. Raymond is so hood, LOL!

Here comes the Upstager!

Last Round

A fun night of song and laughter. After eating at Manila good-Ha! We met up with my coworker Venus and homegirl Fatima. This was my second time going to a karaoke place. It was cool cuz it was a private room. It's funny how when I'm not singing karaoke, I know all the songs I want to sing, but once I get there my internal jukebox just goes blank and I struggle looking for songs to sing, LOL!

Good Ha!

Ervin and Don enjoying dinner.

This is what Don looks like when he hasn't been fed in days.

Ohm nom nom nom nom

Raymond just finished his food. Who's that guy waving?
(Isn't he a bit too old to be crashing into people's pics like that? LOL)

Friday came a day early so my friends and I decided to eat out after work. We landed on this Filipino spot called Manila Good-Ha! out somewhere in the L.A. area. Raymond got the "chocolate meat" (it's not really chocolate). Don got this vegetable rice combo (he claims he's on a diet). Ervin got this fish thing. It was good but a lil on the dry side considering it was suppose to be "soupy". I think they gave Raymond all the soup, haha.

The Getty Museum

The Getty Museum from the Central Garden

On the Monorail

A nice guy took our picture.

I like nice guys, lol. I like the fountains, they look like icebergs. I love museums!

Up beyond these walls... are my dreams...

And right beside me is my hope.

Bedtime stories

Reading Rainbow

When I saw this bed, I jumped rite in and said "awesome". This little bed is actually a tiny replica of a real bed in the museum. I like how one of our legs are folded and the other is stretched out, haha.

Hall

Tapestry

This Memorial Day weekend, Ervin decided to take me to The Getty Museum. This is my first time there and I loved it. I loved it so much I didn't even take pictures. The paintings were breathtaking. The sculptures were awesome. It was a nice day to take a slow stroll through the galleries. It is not often we get to walk through life at and take the time to look at the small details. When I look at these exhibits, I can't help but stop and take notice of the textures and the colors, the little cracks and details, you can smell the rusty, musty smell of the old aged books. Museums are a great place to escape back into history... I will visit the Getty again that's for sure.
