JMHS Homecoming

It's been about 10 years since Iv'e stepped foot back into these grounds. High school memories will always be forever with me. Today marks the opening of the new John Marshall football field. The field is actually bigger, and the tracked paved... not dirt like when I attended, lol.

It's been 10 years...

Heyyyy

I am saddened to learn that John Marshall doesnt have a Marching Band anymore. I guess it was one of the things they discontinued due to budget cuts and lack of teachers. It was a bittersweet Homecoming.

Birthday Bashed

All in all Ervin's birthday turned out okay. I still have all these feelings from last year and everything that has happened. It's sad to think that his birthday serves as a reminder of a start of a hurtful event in my life. But what can I do, I just have to bite my lip... and deal with it silently. Smile like everything is okay...

I Love L.A.

Downtown L.A.

Here we are in Downtown L.A. walking around before we enter MOCA.

Hey

In the middle of Downtown LA

Here is the famous shining Walt Disney Concert Hall where the Los Angeles Philharmonic perform.

Walt Disney Concert Hall

Shining Man

Who knew that Downtown L.A. could be so beautiful. From a distance all people really see are tall structures amidst all the smog and pollution. On the weekdays, it is often filled with the noisy traffic. It is not often that people see this side of Downtown L.A. and it is beautiful.

MOCA

So on October 4th, 2009 MOCA and other museums around Los Angeles opened it's doors freely to the public. This was a cool event and a great chance for people to go to museums and get into the arts.
