Thanksgiving Dinner

So we planned a quick Pre-Thanksgiving Dinner with our friends (unfortunately about half of them didnt make it). So it was just the boys and the Honeybaked Ham. This week was so tiring. We had to order the Honeybake, prepare dinner, and set up the christmas tree in 2 days.


Ervin's first Thanksgiving mishap...

He overwatered the stuffing... but pulled up a great solution by letting the moisture evaporate for 5-6 hours, lol.

O Christmas Tree

So we decided to have a Christmas Tree this year. We opted for the white cashmere tree from Michael's. We also decided we wanted something elegant, and pretty. Not too flashy, too colorful, or overly decorated, but simple and elegant... fit for a King. We bought 2-tone color accent leaves and ornaments, and to add color we bought tiny painted wooden Christmas ornaments. Here's how our tree turned out...

We took a trip down the OC for Ervin's cousin Jesse's birthday and also it was Manny Pacquiao's fight night. There were lots of good food, and it was nice seeing them again.

He Is Watching

So while in line for the signing of Glee, I saw this leaf on a bush that resembled very much of Jesus. I got all excited and giddy, and it brought smiles to my face. It lets me know that He is watching over me. =0)

Ervin and I are huge fans of Glee. We watch and listen to the songs religiously. So, when we found out that the cast of Glee was going to be at the Grove, we just knew we had to be there.

When we got there we had to buy the soundtrack, again (we already had boughten, lol, the soundtrack at BestBuy a couple of days ago). We planned on getting our BestBuy copies signed and return the other 2 that we bought at Barnes and Noble near our home.

We arrived at the Grove around 2:00 PM and had gotten a neon green wristband that designates us as the first 2nd stand-by group. After being told that we might not even get autographs, we still stood in line singing "Don't Stop Believing", lol!

After 5 hours of waiting in line and pain-stakingly surviving the yells and screams of annoying prepubescent girls, we finally reached Barnes and Noble.

Halloween 2009

Here we are at the 2009 West Hollywood Halloween Festival. It was packed like a can of sardines. Over 400,000 people attended this year. It was fun seeing our friends in costumes. There were lots of people with very interesting costumes. It was better than last year. Parking was up to $20.00 but it was worth it.

It was very rare to see any other Nintendo game characters but these 2 rocked it. Especially Link. I liked how Toad was taller than us, haha.
