First Fridays occur every first Friday of each month at the first half of the year. It is when the Natural History Museum opens its doors after hours and hold an event where people can enjoy, music, dining, drinking inside the museum.

One of the world's smoothest crystal quartz
The Mammal Hall. A bunch of stuffed animals on display, haha. Creepy but cool. This is were the discussions are held. Depending on which particular month you go to, discussions during First Fridays varies from Earthquakes to Fruit Flies, lol.

Also at the museum are a collection of dead birds. I should think about donating my hamsters... lol!

This is a new area they are building. It's going to hold animals from the sea. Here is a hump back whale's bones.

Downstairs at the Learning Center. They held an exhibit of bugs. We watched as they feed the disgusting critters. it was awesome... too awesome that we forgot to take pics =0(
