The Getty Museum

The Getty Museum from the Central Garden

On the Monorail

A nice guy took our picture.

I like nice guys, lol. I like the fountains, they look like icebergs. I love museums!

Up beyond these walls... are my dreams...

And right beside me is my hope.

Mirrorwalled

Bedtime stories

Reading Rainbow

When I saw this bed, I jumped rite in and said "awesome". This little bed is actually a tiny replica of a real bed in the museum. I like how one of our legs are folded and the other is stretched out, haha.

Hall

Tapestry

This Memorial Day weekend, Ervin decided to take me to The Getty Museum. This is my first time there and I loved it. I loved it so much I didn't even take pictures. The paintings were breathtaking. The sculptures were awesome. It was a nice day to take a slow stroll through the galleries. It is not often we get to walk through life at and take the time to look at the small details. When I look at these exhibits, I can't help but stop and take notice of the textures and the colors, the little cracks and details, you can smell the rusty, musty smell of the old aged books. Museums are a great place to escape back into history... I will visit the Getty again that's for sure.

Fortune in a Cookie

LoL, I think the wise people at the fortune cookie factory are running out of things to print. I mean, I guess they could go back to printing fortunes with lotto numbers on them lol.

I Got Game

Today I played tennis with Raymond and I sucked ass, LOL! My legs are sooo sore. I realized that I hit the ball too hard, and that I am too strong. Haha! Can't wait to play again... Game!

What the Hell?

Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat)?

First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So we need to know the rate at which souls are moving into Hell and the rate at which they are leaving. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for how many souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different Religions that exist in the world today.

Most of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since there is more than one of these religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all souls go to Hell.

With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyle's Law (gas cools when it expands and heats when it is compressed) states that in order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume of Hell has to expand proportionately as souls are added.

This gives two possibilities:
1. If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter Hell, then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase until all Hell breaks loose

2. If Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over.

So which is it?

If we accept the postulate given to me by Ervin that, "it will be a cold day in Hell before I sleep with you", and take into account the fact that I slept with him last night, then number 2 must be true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic and has already frozen over. The corollary of this theory is that since Hell has frozen over, it follows that it is not accepting any more souls and is therefore, extinct... leaving only Heaven... thereby proving the existence of a divine being... which explains why, last night, Ervin kept shouting "Oh my God."

Book Club.

I should start my own book club just to have an excuse to hang out at bookstores with friends and have coffee, haha.

Escalator going down.

No comment... lol!

Just finished another fun adventure in Glendale after watching Angels and Demons. The movie was great, I got all squimish a bit because I didn't know what to expect. It was very suspenseful... I thought it would have delved more into the whole Science versus Religion kinda thing, but it was a very thought provoking movie. I give it 2 thumbs up.

Next movie- Harry Potter? G.I. Joe? Transformers?

Ichiban

Don thinking of what to eat.

Raymond couldn't wait to eat.

Both of them anxiously waiting.

Here we are at our favorite sushi restaurant in Glendale. Ichiban. We went for overkill, haha.

Don - Rainbow Roll (shove it where it fits, haha)
Raymond - Spider Crab Roll, Philadelphia Roll and some other roll.
Ervin - Tiger Eye Roll, Volcano Spicy Scallops Roll
Mark - White Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, and Dynamite

Haha, needless to say we all felt fat afterwards, haha!

Papparazzi 101

1. Make sure you focus because you will end up with pictures looking like this one. LOL!

2. Keep your subjects close together. Unless one is smoking and the other is allergic to smoke, haha.
