Shake Shake Boom

Today we had another earthquake. I felt it on the 10th floor at work. I was freaking out. I told myself it's just like riding a rollercoaster except things might fall on top of me. It turned out to be 4.1 earthquake somewhere in the Hawthorne area. This followed a stronger earthquake a few days ago which measured 4.7 around the same area. It lasted about 5 seconds. I thank God that I am still alive. Yeay!

So I decided to leave a bit early and do some bank errands, LOL!

Here we are at the Great Park in Irvine just enjoying the few things that they have up at the park. I can't wait for them to finish this park so we can enjoy all the other things it might offer. Yeay! Too bad the balloon ride wasn't open when we went, we were so excited. Hopefully next time we can bring all our friends to go.

Movie Date

Ervin and I just chillin before our movie starts. Can I just say we both loved the new Star Trek movie. It was fun just seeing who is gonna portray who in the movie. I loved how they didn't try to do the whole stereotype thing with the old original Star Trek tv show. There were a couple of laughs and a few surprises. I loved Zachary Quinto's performance. It was awesome. Next movie... Angels and Demons.

Ervin and I decided to walk around Downtown Disney before watching our movie. It was fun getting away from the L.A. environment. Everyone here look so happy, lol.

Join In Our Adventure

Lately I have had the greatest times going around places with friends, whether it's local, an amusement park, or a road trip. Sharing these experiences with the people I care about are wonderful and brings a multitude of happiness in my life. It also provides us the time to allow our friendships to grow deeper and stronger.

When I was in elementary, I overheard my teacher tell my parents in one of those PTA meetings, that I am very wise when it comes to choosing my friends. And although I have met some people that were not so very friendly, I have met alot that surpassed that definition of the word, "friend". People who continuously contribute to who I am today. Learning and growing from them.

So thanks to all my friends and the many more I will meet in this journey I call life.
