California Adventure

Welcome to California Adventure

The 4 Mouseketeers

Taken by the Disney photographer

She made us point to the floor

Raymond and Don

This Father's Day weekend, we decided to hit up Disneyland and California Adventures, thanks to Kuya Darvie for hooking us up. Im surprised it wasn't packed for Father's Day, but then again, it was a Sunday. And all 4 of us had work the next day. But who cares? Today is all about being a kid again. This is Don's first time at Disneyland, yeay!

Here comes the sun

The Hollywood Backlot

Don walking the streets

Road kill

Our first stop was The Twilight Zone's Tower of Terror. This is a fun ride. You ride an elevator about 10-13 stories high and it suddenly drops you, LoL.

Tower of Terror

Waiting in the lobby

Don was scared

We made it out alive

The Tower of Terror was awesome. The line was only 15 minutes long. We had a funny, weird, bordering on gay bellhop that strapped us in the elevator. I should have taken a picture of him, lol... he was funny. He reminded me very much of Pee-Wee Herman, lol. The picture on the ride was great. I will post them later.

Next stop, The Aladdin stage play

Waiting for it to start

Im looking at the theater ceiling

The gang waiting for the show to begin

Jasmine and Aladdin

Aladdin was cute. Raymond had been hoping it was the asian guy that was going to play Aladdin, and it was. He looked kinda filipino. Jasmine looked pretty. It was a 40-minute show. It was kinda long for a "theme-park" show.

Chasing waterfalls

Getting ready for the shot

And pose...

And pose again...

Enjoying nature and the man-made waterfalls. This was a nice spot to take pictures. Hearing all that water crashing down, while the gentle sun hits your face. I love man-made nature.

Ervin and Mark in line for California Screamin

Don and Raymond

Flippin out

Mark and Don

Gasp

Don was hungry

We're on the ride, yeay!

California Screamin was a great rollercoaster. It was alot smoother than I had remembered it to be. Smoother than some of Magic Mountain's rides.

On the Paradise Pier

On the Maliboomer

An awesome ride

The Maliboomer was another awesome ride. Don was scared to go on it, but with a lil coaxing and help from the girl who was working the line, Don mustered up enough courage to go on the ride. Don was praying the whole time, LoL!

The Giant Mouse Wheel

Paradise Bay undergoing a facelift

The Paradise Bay in California Adveture is going under major reconstruction. Im guessing they want it to have dancing fountains like Bellagio in Las Vegas, NV.

Who's that?

On Bear Mountain

Just me

Just Don

Heading down Bear Mountain and back out to head to Disneyland. It was a fun trip California Adventures. I hope next time there will be more to see and more to do.
